Pastels are inherently pretty, but not always as innocent as they seem. In Powdery Pastels we borrow from the quiet beauty of nature - a vanilla sky, a wintery wood, a frostbitten leaf, a rosy cheek - and from a dreamy, make-believe world of children with imaginary, quirky friends. The pastels are never seen alone, but always contrasted with washed-out denim, a run-down warehouse, an arty hairdo, a pair of military-like boots for an expression of a cool, Nordic, playful, beautiful and powerful style.

 

 

 

 

The attitude in Urban Rodeo is over all happy go lucky, but with an undertone of an industrial melancholy. It is full of hope and expectations for the future, and has a profound love of animals and rural living. It is strong and sound values, back to basics and traditions inherited for generations. Here cowboys and indians are mixed together in one big happy family, wearing denim, hats and ponchos with a native print. It is very much inspired by the Americas - checkered shirts, leather boots, capes, knits and Stars & Stripes - and the materials are natural, heavy and will last forever.
